Remember, just because it's more expensive, doesn't mean it's better!!! Our goal is to keep the costs low so that more families can enjoy a safe, dynamic and wonderful camp program!

 

Smiley Bunch pre-K and Kindergarten camp information.

Since summer 2000, Theo Vecera’s (Centre Action Viva) Smiley Bunch pre-K and Kindergarten camp welcomes over fifty children in the community.

  • Our staff are all experienced in child-related studies.
  • We are truly a community camp that caters to the social, cultural, recreational, mental and physical growth of children that participate in our program.
  • We offer a weekly program up to a 7 week program. Rebate for two or three children in the same family for our other camps.
  • Our staff goes through a two month training recognized by the City of Montreal and first aid certification.
  • K-Camper registration forms go out to the local English elementary schools at the end of April with registration being in the middle of May.
  • We always go the extra mile to ensure your child’s experience is a safe, joyful, nurturing and memorable one! Most of our staff at one point, have been campers as well!

Who? Pre K and Kindergarten completed in June.
When? Begins right after school ends.

Where? Held this year at the YLC 2nd floor hall.

Camp Happy Dayz (grade 1 to grade 6 completed in June 2010)

Camp Happy Dayz reaches out to over four hundred children in the community every year. We also hire over 65 young people (aged 15 to 25) ever year from our community.

  • We are truly a community camp that caters to the social, cultural, recreational, mental and physical growth of children that participate in our program.
  • We offer a weekly to 7 week program. Rebate for two or three children in the same family.

Ball Hockey camp. For grade 6 boys and High School boys.

 

Something new! Something memorable!

A ball hockey camp that is a great mix of sport, special events and summer activities.

The morning session consists of ball hockey practice/drills and fitness program. The rest of the morning are ball hockey games.

The afternoon session consists of regular summer activities that include swimming, outings, special ball hockey events, activities and theme days.

The fee is 490$ which is the same like the rest of our camps! Times and overall structure is similar to Happy Dayz camp.

Note: Safety equipment will be provided.

Held at Michelangelo elementary school in RDP. Daycare in the morning will be at the school and afternoon daycare will be at the YLC's 3rd floor.

There will be times where the ball hockey campers will be Teen Spirit for particular activities.

 

Teen Spirit summer camp. For Secondary 1,2 and 3.

Our teen summer camp group reaches out to over fifty teenagers every year! Since 1993!

  • A dynamic and mixed group of secondary 1,2 and 3 whose activities range from special teen outings, special events, sleepovers, leadership program (Animator in training) as well as volunteering.
  • It follows the same times and structure as "Happy Dayz" camp and is held in the YLC itself.
  • It is a memorable, fun and friendly group that understands the needs of teenagers today.

Who? High school students.

When? Begins right after school officially ends.

Cost? Same rate as Happy Days. All rebates apply as well.
